For our 4th edition we explore the heart of the Romanian country, Covasna!

A week full of games, contests, prizes and outdoor activities in an amazing location!

This week the Board Game Camp takes place between 2 august – 8 august 2025, at Hotel TTS Covasna ****!

We heard you that last year’s Camp was too short so we’re going back to seven days, a day more than last edition!
A full week staying at a 4 star hotel, 3 meals per day, free access to games, activities and the facilities of the hotel!

What can I do in the Board Game Camp?

First of all, play games! From the most beloved titles to the most recent on the market, from party games to strategy games, you will always find other players.

Whether we’re talking about Bios: Origins, Hegemony, 7 Wonders, Carcassonne or Codenames, you’ll likely prefer playing outdoors while admiring the scenery from one of the terraces!

In addition to the varied collection of games, within the complex where we will be staying you will find a variety of places to relax and have fun: swimming pool, sauna, salt room, bicycles, hiking trails, table tennis, foosball and billiards. All available free of charge for camp participants.

Spa treatment is one of the main tourist attractions that made the city of Covasna recognized as the “heart resort” or the “City of 1000 springs“.
For a fee, participants can benefit from a wide range of spa treatments such as: natural treatments (CO2 baths, mofettas), electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, physiotherapy, inhalation and aerosol therapy, medical massage.

We wanted to create an event that we, as boardgamers, would enjoy participating in, and most importantly, one in which everyone would feel welcome. Some might want to play heavy games all day, others might like party games and other board game themed activities or just want to relax and enjoy nature. And anything in-between.

We started in 2022, so quite a bit 😀 . The easiest is to watch the videos made by our friends from HowToPlay (subtitles on 🙂 !), but in a nut shell:

Everyone got a board game as a welcome gift
We had Simone Luciani, one of the biggest board game designers in the world, as a guest
The Camp Game lets you exchange cards by playing with new people to win prizes and collect memories
Several activities (treasure hunts, puzzles, online games, etc.) offered entries for a Raffle with multiple prizes
We set records by playing the largest games together, with prizes of course
Adapted versions of game shows with a board gaming theme (should we mention it again? with prizes!)
Anyone who wanted to take a break went for a walk, rowed a boat, cycled, took a swim in the pool, relaxed in the sauna

I'm in! Where do I sign up?

We are very happy to be part of a very friendly community that is so supportive of projects born in and for the community 🙂
Although for the 4th year in a row we have increased capacity, spots are limited and as we were processing registrations the day after the announcement we realized that the number of requests exceeded the available rooms.
At this time all rooms have been reserved, but you can still sign up for the waiting list to be contacted if spots become available and of course for next year.
We thank you all for the support and we want you to know that we are trying to do everything we can not to disappoint you! 🙂

The participation price is 450 EURO per person for accommodation in a double room and includes:

6 nights accomodation in a 4 star hotel
all rooms have a private bathroom, mini bar, TV, safe, hair dryer, bathrobe, slippers
3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
welcome package
access to all games in the library
access to all Camp activities
participation in competitions with prizes
free access to hotel facilities: swimming pool, sauna, salt room, table tennis, foosball, billiards, bicycles
other surprises we are preparing 😉
transport is not included but we will do our best to help you get here!

There are discounts for children. Please mention their age in the message.

Reserve a place in the Camp:

Reservations will be made ONLY at room level. For a participation offer that suits your needs, please contact us.
Payment of the participation fee will be made to the account of Asociația Culturală Zilele Jocurilor, 40% upon reservation and the remaining payment by June 20th, 2025. Room reservation will be made in the order of the receipt of the advance payment.
The Board Game Camp is a non-profit event, organized by Asociația Culturală Zilele Jocurilor. The money raised will be used to pay for accommodation, food, and prizes for participants.
Places in the Board Game Camp are limited, and participation is only allowed to people who have paid the participation fee.
By participating in the Board Game Camp, you consent to appear in photos and videos during the event that may be used for promotional purposes.
